Was really enjoying this book in the beginning. I feel like I'm learning a lot about renaissance Florence. But now each chapter continues after a several month time skip, and there is not a lot driving the plot forward. The conflicts have kind of fizzled out and we're only a third of the way through. Curious to see how things will (hopefully) start ramping up again.
